Hello all, we have added a new Donations Manager to the website that will help us track player donations and support for Thinking Man. This will also allow us to give credit where credit is due.
You will notice that there are new widgets on the right side of the forum that shows our monthly costs and a donate button. The Top Donations widget shows the people in the community that have made the highest one time contribution. The Top Donors widget shows the top total donations received by a community member.
For those that want to contribute monthly and want a subscription like we had on our previous website you may do so HERE. Keep in mind that subscriptions will not automatically be added to the Donation Manager. So once you receive a receipt through Paypal, you are more than welcome to message Edisun or myself and we can add it manually.

There was a big update to Counter-Strike: Source today. Counter-Strike: Source was converted to SteamPipe. This is a whole new way of receiving updates for the server and clients. Files are now packed in APK files (compressed file similar to zip).
If you have you CSS game modified on your client you will probably want to read THIS steam support article so you can convert you modifications to the new system. You should see a noticeable difference in the speed of changing maps and in game response times.
All of our servers have been updated and converted to the new content delivery system. As usual if you have any issue report it in our bugs forum.
Also, Tapatalk has been configured for the new website. If you previously added us you will probably have to search for us again and save us in your favorites.
We have switched over to a new forum software and are very happy with the simplistic yet effective and sleek design of the web site.
In addition to new software, we have moved a few things around and are attempting to make the entire forum experience more fluid, allowing our Counter Strike and Minecraft players a place of their own on our forums. In addition, the main page sports a new widget to show you who is on our Minecraft servers at all times as well as lots of interesting new features.
We are also currently developing new widgets and mods for the site to interact with our other game servers. There will be a TeamSpeak block similar to the one on our previous site, but this is being built in house.
Users can now register with there facebook or steam accounts and integrate your Thinking Man account with them. We are working on supporting more integration features with twitter and other sites as well so stayed tuned.
ThinkCraft is the Thinking Man verison of Tekkit, which you may remember is a heavily modded version of Minecraft. Our version adds nearly all the mods of Tekkit lite with the addition of a few others like the Portal Gun Mod and Mo Creatures, to add new dimensions to your gaming experience. In addition to being heavily modded, we also have tons of different plugins available on the ThinkCraft server, these plugins increase the gameplay enjoyment by adding new powers and privileges to the game as well as keep your creations protected and help you get around the world.
