So here's my story.

A while back, this is when I had my old desk and my computer sat beside the desk instead of under as it does now, I found beads of a sticky liquid that had run down the side of my computer case and it looks like pop. I sighed and went to go clean it up and thought nothing of it. Today, I'm changing out some of the cords on the back of my computer and I notice that one of the plastic pieces in the back is gone and has probably fallen inside of the computer. No worries, I turn off the computer and open it up and I scream. The pop that was no big deal spilled ALL in my computer. It's over EVERYTHING and I, frankly, am surprised it still works. The sound card took the brunt of the damage yet it works perfectly. The only untouched parts are my hard drives which are hidden near the front of the case.

I take a long hard sigh and beat myself up about not having computers in the line of soda traffic and how I should have checked the inside the second that I found pop on the outside of the case. However there is nothing I can do now about it and I look to the future. This can be a nice opportunity to upgrade some of the parts that I have been looking to upgrade and try out some semi-watercooling.

So behold my new computer:

ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN 3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge (3.4 GHz and Turbo at 3.8 GHz)
EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 580
Corsair Vengence 16GB DDR3 1600
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1
Corsair H100 Liquid CPU Cooler
OCZ ZX Series 850W Modular Power Supply
All tucked inside a Cooler Master HAF 932

What do you guys think and do you have any stories of absolute stupidity like me.

TL.DR. Found out why my computer has been a little wonky lately. Soda.

P.S. Do you know how to get pop out of silicon?
P.P.S. I'll post pics of damage and the new dealeo when I build it later this week when the parts arrive.

Just wanted to share a cool little project that I found online.

I have two sound devices that I use, speakers and headphones. Switching between them in Windows is a big pain in my butt, you have to go into the playback devices and switch which device is the default device. While that isn't a huge deal, it gets annoying. Really annoying.

Sound Switch is a cool little program that allows you to choose your devices from the list of playback devices and will cycle through them at the press of a keystroke. Awesome!

Just a cool little thing to make life easier.

Hey Gamers,

Now if you're like me, you have a ton of video games in your collection that need some playing time. Well a cool website called The Backloggery can help you out. It basically keeps track of all the games in your collection and what their current completion status is. It has a ton of cool features to keep stuff organized and things tracked such as collections, current ownership status, and number of achievements completed.

Do you have times when you don't know what to play? Well the website even has a fortune cookie option to pull a random game, given some parameters, from your collection.

I suggest if you are a completionist like me that you check it out.
